The young parish at Sacred Heart is formed and shaped by the families and children who attend the parish school, Sacred Heart Primary School in Teddington and who then go on to secondary schools across the borough, and continue to worship at Sacred Heart.

Sacred Heart School reception tours for 2026 entry:

We would love to welcome you to our Reception! Tours will beheld every Friday for September 2026 entry. Each tour starts at 9.40 am and usually lasts around an hour.

First reconciliation and First holy communion 2026

Please start thinking about this Sacrament if your Child/ren are in the current Yr 3 class or above – start date Jan 2026. Date TBC. Please speak with them/friends about this third important Sacrament – start date Jan 2026. Exact date to be confirmed. 

The program of Preparation for First Holy Communion is by all accounts a wonderful, highly rewarding journey for the children and  parents alike.

More catechists needed please!

Following on from the above, we are asking with some urgency for people to come forward to help with First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion, Confirmation and for the RCIA programme. We urgently need catechists to journey with individuals and small groups of young adults wanting to engage in the Sacraments. Advice and training will be given.
